Things You Should Know

What is so unique about your property?

A resort spread over 150 acres in the lap of nature blended with all modern facilities and amenities. With a Kolkata city address / pincode
Music : Till what time is music allowed? Can we play soft music indoors after time? Is there an inhouse DJ?

Music outdoor = Up to 10pm ; music indoor = up to 11.30pm, indoor soft music can continue up to 12 midnight. There is an inhouse DJ.
Parking : How many cars can be comfortbaly be parked? Is there valet?

400 plus cars. Valet service available.
Wedding incharge : Who will be appointed from the hotel to take care of my wedding?

A senior operation personnel. Will be intimated closer to the date.
Menu : Can we change some items in the menu composition later? Is there a chef meeting for menu selection?

Menu composition is modifiable. Yes, there would be a seating with the chef, in fact twice / thrice, until the client is satisfied.
Menu : Do you allow outside catering?

No
Alcohol : Is outside Alcohol allowed? Can one or two premier brands be allowed?

NO. A special bottle of celebration Champagne can be considered only.
Decorator : Is outside decorator allowed? If not, can you indicate the rough price range of inhouse decorator for a wedding event?

Yes allowed. You can use empanelled ones too. Price range for the latter varies between Rs.8 Lacs to the sky !!!
Payment : Can I divide the amount in cash and cheque components? Are there any tax waivers?

Division between cash and cheque component possible. No tax waivers.
Billing : In max how many people names can I make the contract in? How will the bill amount be divided?

Payment terms and Cancellation Policy: Kindly elaborate

Entire estimted amount alongwith 10% of the estimated amount, as security deposit, to be realized 5 working days prior to the function date. Initial advance would be non-refundable. If cancelled 60 days prior to the function date, 25% retention charge; 45 days would be 50% retention charge; 30 days would be 75% retention charge and 15 days would be 100% retention.
Licenses : Will the hotel procure licenses for our event or will we have to do it?

Liquor licenses and local police NOC would be done by the hotel. All musical licenses like PPL, IPRS etc to be procured by the client.
Check In : What are the standard check in and check out policies? Can we get early check in or late check out depending on my guests travel plans

Check in = 1pm & check out = 11am. Early check in and late check out would be given depending upon availability.
Complimentary Rooms: Will we get a few rooms complimentary to get ready? Any complimentary suite upgrades?
