    Park Hyatt Chennai has come to represent a home. A textile merchant of Southern India rose the ranks through his sheer passion and diligence. He travelled far and wide gaining worldly savvy, and gathered some remarkable and rare collectibles along the way. He established these in his new abode - a resting place….a home. This home was the symbol and foundation of Park Hyatt Chennai. Every corner of this home came to be reflective of one prominent family member. Antahpura Spa was the daughter’s space, The Flying Elephant, resplendent in its vibrant appeal belonged to the globe-trotting, creatively inclined, spirited son. The Dining Room was reflective of the matriarch’s warmth and generosity- with its cosy, homely feel. It was the mother’s domain, and also the place where the family gathered to break bread, and share their family stories. The Apartment at Park Hyatt Chennai is a unique residential-style venue that offers 952 square metres (10,268 square feet) of flexible meeting and banquet space featuring:

  • Music : Till what time is music allowed? Can we play soft music indoors after time? Is there an inhouse DJ?

    Music is allowed at The Apartment Gallery till 0100Hrs (Music not to be loud), Lounge music can be played at low Decimal after time

  • Parking : How many cars can be comfortbaly be parked? Is there valet?

    Yes Valet is their at Hotel. (Same is chargeable) 130 Cars Approximately

  • Wedding incharge : Who will be appointed from the hotel to take care of my wedding?

    Events Manager

  • Menu : Can we change some items in the menu composition later? Is there a chef meeting for menu selection?

    Certainly, We can have chefs meeting before finalizing any wedding menu. Wedding menus are specially designed by our Chef closer to the event date

  • Menu : Do you allow outside catering?

    No

  • Alcohol : Is outside Alcohol allowed? Can one or two premier brands be allowed?

    All beverages need to be purchased from the hotel and are charged as per consumption. All Alcoholic beverages & wines are subject to government mandated taxes. Any change in government mandated taxes will be applicable.

  • Decorator : Is outside decorator allowed? If not, can you indicate the rough price range of inhouse decorator for a wedding event?

    Yes out side decorator is allowed. Vendor fee is chargeable

  • Payment : Can I divide the amount in cash and cheque components? Are there any tax waivers?

    Yes amount can be in cash and cheque components, no tax waveoff. PAN Card is required for any amount exceeding INR 25,000/-

  • Billing : In max how many people names can I make the contract in? How will the bill amount be divided?

    Bills can be divided into two different bills based on two different events and meals. Same needs to be informed before the LOA is drawn so that the same can be made into 02 LOAs

  • Payment terms and Cancellation Policy: Kindly elaborate

    Guest have to pay 50% (Food & Beverage and applicable taxes) of total bill and sign the contract . Rest of the 50 % have to be cleared minimum 30 days before the event

  • Licenses : Will the hotel procure licenses for our event or will we have to do it?

    For DJ / Lounge Music no Licenses are required, for any fashion show, exhibition, live performance, ticketing licenses are applicable

  • Check In : What are the standard check in and check out policies? Can we get early check in or late check out depending on my guests travel plans

    Our check-in time is 1400 Hrs and check-out time is 1200 Hrs. However, should there be an early arrival or a late departure and you would like us to allocate the rooms upon arrival, we will provide the accommodation, subject to availability, based on the following terms & conditions: • Early arrival before 1200 Hrs or a late departure beyond 1600 Hrs will be charged @ 50% of the contracted rates. Early arrival before 0900 Hrs or late departure after 1900 Hrs will be charged @ 100% of the contracted rates. Early Ck inn and Ck our is subject to availability, on situational basis.

  • Complimentary Rooms: Will we get a few rooms complimentary to get ready? Any complimentary suite upgrades?

    Same is Subject to availablity and total billing amount
